Venice Sunset Italy

Whilst on my weekly shopping trip on the Lido in Venice we took these two images on our Vaporetto trip home across the lagoon…….Just amazing light the images are straight out of the D3 camera with no post production and auto white balance settings. The passing Vaporetto water bus was taken with settings 1/2000 SEC at F4.5, ISO 200, 70 mm (70 – 200 F2.8 Lens) and my partner playing my model – 1/160 SEC at F4.5, ISO 200, 175 mm (70 – 200 F2.8 Lens)..

Johnny Depp Filming The Tourist – San Marco, Venice Italy

Well whilst walking in San Marco yesterday looking for some interesting people to photograph, I could not help but notice that the famous San Marco square was full of rather large cameras and security. So given nothing else was going on,  I thought! why not test my camera! and after getting a good spot some distance away at maximum focal length on my 200 mm lens and Nikon D3s set in DX Mode for some more range, we took the following images of the film star. Good fun and interesting watching the film extras sit around waiting for the main man…No post production and web optimised at 60% of original quality LOL
